With unprecedented access, The September Issue, directed and produced by R.J. Cutler, tells the story of legendary editor in chief Anna Wintour and her larger-than-life team of editors creating the September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine and ruling the world of fashion.
The September Issue premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the U.S. Documentary Editing Award. The film's theatrical release in fall of 2009 hailed both critical and commercial success.
Jessica edited over 90 minutes of deleted scenes for the film's DVD, released in February 2010. The three clips below are a selection of that extended material.
